Deborah Lynn Brookstra Orendorff, 61, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Friday, August 27, 2021, at home.Services have been postponed. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church.Deborah Lynn Brookstra was born November 3, 1959, at the Great Lakes Naval Base, the daughter of Donald and Georgia Brookstra of Davenport, Iowa.She graduated from Davenport West High School in 1978, and went on to attend Hope College in Holland, Michigan, where she earned a degree in business. She earned her degree in interior design from Scott Community College and worked with her mother at Interior-Bath Design for 16 years. She later worked at Steve's Mirror and Glass for 20 years.In 2006, she married Larry Orendorff of Moline, Illinois, and they would move to Bettendorf, Iowa. Over the years, they would spend time at the family cottage in Holland, Michigan, and enjoyed camping with their friends in Wisconsin.Deborah is survived by her husband, Larry Orendorff of Bettendorf; daughter, Michele Orendorff of Moline; son, Thomas Orendorff of Colona, Illinois; granddaughter, Quinn Ford of Moline; and their beloved dog, Remington. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Georgia Brookstra, and sister, Rebecca Brookstra French.Condolences may be shared at CremationQC.com.
