Deborah Elaine Bussineau-King, age 74, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025 in her home. She was born June 13, 1951 in Flint, daughter of the late Otto and Vanna Bussineau. Deborah and Sydney King married in Boerne, Texas. Debbie was a singer her entire life, dedicating it to music. She was Soloist Section Leader at St. Marks Episcopal Church in San Antonio, TX, Choir Director at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lexington, Director of the Port Huron Musicale group. Debbie was a Professor Emerita of Music at University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio for many years. She and Syd met in Texas singing and traveling to many choirs around San Antonio. She is survived by her husband Syd; 2 step-sons, Sydney William and Roger King. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Friday, October 3 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Lexington. Burial will be in Forester Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Friday at the church, prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church, or the American Diabetes Association.
