Deborah Day Obituary
Deborah Lynn Cole Day, age 59, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.
Born on October 6, 1965, Deborah was known for her warm personality, love of shopping, and her deep care for others. A people person through and through, she had a gift for making friends wherever she went. She spent several years working in real estate, where her friendly spirit and dedication made a lasting impression on clients and colleagues alike.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Cole and Thelma Ruth Gray Cole, and by her sister, Linda Joan Cole.
She is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Nick Goins and Jantzen Day; her cherished grandchildren, Sadie Goins, Tucker Goins, and Hunter Day; her sister, Diane Cole Jackson and husband Frank; and nieces, Kimberlee Jackson (Shane) and Whitney Barry (Tucker).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Stansbury Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky.
Deborah’s joyful spirit and kind heart will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
