Deborah Jo Eberwein, 74, passed away on August 17th, 2025 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Deborah, known to friends and family as Deb or Debbie, was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. Deborah was born in East Chicago, Indiana on September 14th,1950.

 Deborah was a proud member of the Army Reserves. Deborah graduated from Indiana University with a nursing degree in 1972. Deborah spent much of her life in Lebanon, Indiana, and was dedicated to raising her two children and helping others as a registered nurse at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She enjoyed painting and spending time with her two grandchildren in her retired years. Deborah had a loving, giving, and uniquely adventurous spirit that will be missed by those she knew. 

She was preceded in death by parents, Joe and Virginia Nagy: and niece, Jamie Nagy. 

She is survived by sisters, Dana Andrew (Dennis), Linda Nagy; brother, Cory Nagy; son, Benjamin Eberwein (Monica); daughter, Amy Deater (Benjamin); their father, Samuel Eberwein; and grandchildren, Addison Eberwein and Austin Eberwein.

 At her request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Red Cross.
