Deborah Joseph, age 68, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024, at her residence. She was born on January 19, 1956, in San Antonio, Texas to Raymond and Helen Janoski Burkhalter and had lived in the Tyson Community most of her life. She was a license practical nurse with the Claxton Nursing Home for many years before she became a ‘granny’. Deborah enjoyed tending to her plants and her favorite pastime was spending time with her babies. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Sherrie Anderson.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Tammy) Lynn of Glennville, Brad (Sonya) Lynn of Alma and Miranda (Sergio) Gutierrez of Collins; sister, Tammy (Gerald) Blocker of Glennville; grandchildren, Jordan Lynn (Heather), Morgan Bland (Jordan), Kasity Lynn, Tate Buckley (Courtney), Jaycee Lynn (Devin), Drake Howard (Lexi), Mason Howard, Justus Cartrette, Kaydance Gutierrez, Kamree Gutierrez, and Keagan Gutierrez; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, beginning at 2:00pm at Pine Grove Baptist Church of Reidsville with the funeral services to follow at 3:00pm with the Reverend Jeffery Barnard officiating.
