Deborah Lou Joyner Armstrong was born February 25th, 1951 in Drummonds Tennessee to Paul and Nettie Mae Joyner. She passed away on Monday, June 23rd at Baptist Tipton hospital.
Deborah is survived by her husband, Jimmy, whom she was married to for 54 years. She was a loving wife and fantastic mother and grandmother, in addition to caring for others in her over 30 year career as a registered nurse.
When she wasn't working, Deborah loved animals, gardening, sewing, being with her grandkids, reading, watching westerns, meals with her family and always had her nails done in a perfect French tip.
Deborah is also survived by her daughter, Paige (Daniel) Buhrmester of Garland, TN, son Michael (Jennifer) Armstrong of Bartlett, TN, grandchildren Jared Baker, Brandon Armstrong, Kate Turner (Will), Trinity Osborne (Bo), Timothy Daughtery, Ashlynn Buhrmester, Abby Cooper, Madison Armstrong and Makenzie Cooper. Great grandchildren Kalarra Armstrong, Addison Turner and Brooklynn Harkness along with many nieces, nephews, in laws and beloved friends.
Deborah is proceeded in death by her parents, sisters Paula Hathcock and Charlene Lott, brothers Bubba Joyner and Ronald Joyner and her beloved sons Brian Armstrong and David Armstrong.
While she will be greatly missed, her family finds comfort knowing that she is with her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, and is reunited with her sons.
