Deborah (Schaller) Lawrence passed away Saturday morning, October 4, 2025. She was 67 years old.
Debbie was born October 10, 1957 in Sheboygan Falls, daughter of Roman Sr. and Loretta (Mauer) Schaller. She attended school in Sheboygan Falls, graduating in 1975.
On May 28, 1977 she was united in marriage with Curtis Lawrence in Sheboygan.
Debbie worked at Bemis for many years, where she developed many lasting friendships.
A creative and gifted decorator, friends and family loved seeing her latest ideas inside her home, especially at Christmas time. Blessed with a green thumb, her yearly flowers were always a beautiful display at her home. She loved to play bingo, trips to Las Vegas, and spending time with her grandchildren who she adored.
Debbie is survived by her daughter Carrie Scharenbroch; grandchildren: Carter, Kaitlyn, Claire, Ava, Braylon, Madden; step-son Robert (Summer) Lawrence; brothers: Steve Schaller, Tim Schaller, and David (Lorena) Schaller; sisters: Julie Schmidt, Diane (David) Knaus, Beverly (Wayne) Henke, Sharon (Dale) Peterson, Sue Carpenter, Pat (Gordon) Rammer and Jackie (Keith) Oppeneer; sisters-in-law Rosemary, Deb and Tammy Schaller, Mary Jo Knoebel and Carrie Lawrence; brother-in-law Terry (Sue) Lawrence; former son-in-law Derek Scharenbroch; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Curtis, parents Roman Sr. and Loretta; parents-in-law Charles and Donna Lawrence; brothers Jeff, Jim, Mike and Roman Schaller Jr.; brothers-in-law Wally Schmidt, Roger Lawrence and Chuck (Sue) Lawrence; sister-in-law Carol Jean Karls; nephews Gordon Rammer III, Dusty Knaus and Brian Schmidt and niece Suzanne Carpenter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 11:00AM-1:00PM. She will be laid to rest beside her husband Curtis at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their compassion and loving care.
