In Loving Memory of Debbie Lytle
Born: July 21, 1955, in
Leadville, CO Passed Away: November 28, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debbie Lytle, a beloved wife, stepmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She left this world surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Debbie was born on July 21, 1955, in Leadville, Colorado, and throughout her life, she touched the hearts of those around her.
Preceded in death by her father Osmond Flynn (1994), mother Lillian Flynn (2005), brother Gary Flynn Sr (2021), and niece Jennifer Brandenburg (2023), Debbie now rests in peace with her loved ones who went before her. She is survived by her devoted husband Robert Lytle and sister Linda Neumann with husband Richard Neumann, stepchildren Robbie Lytle with wife Molly Lytle, Darren Lytle and fiancée Kasondra Brooke, Jenny Lytle-Price with husband Chad Price, along with cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews Gayle and Barry who were like children to her and great nephews.
Debbie attended Adams City High in Commerce City and later helped her husband run a successful trucking company for many years in California where she laid the foundation for a wonderful life. She was an active participant in the Brighton Elks Lodge and ladies auxiliary which she enjoyed very much.
A passionate patriot, Debbie exhibited her love for her country through a special tribute she crafted in remembrance of 9/11. The City of Thornton recognized her heartfelt gesture, using it in a display that reflected her dedication to honoring the nation's spirit.
Among her many interests, Debbie had an abiding love for her dogs Lexi, Tiger and Snickers, oldies and country music. She and her husband, Robert, enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, where they created cherished memories and visited dear friends. Christmas held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in transforming her home into a festive wonderland during the holiday season.
Debbie's culinary skills were a source of joy for those fortunate enough to experience them. Her breakfasts at the Elk's Lodge, particularly her renowned cinnamon rolls, became a cherished tradition that brought people together in warmth and camaraderie.
As we mourn the loss of Debbie, let us also celebrate the remarkable life she led and the enduring impact she had on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kindness, love, and the countless memories she leaves behind.
May Debbie's soul find eternal peace, and may her memory live on in the hearts of those who were privileged to know and love her.
