Deborah Ann Meckes

Deborah Ann Meckes, 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 16, 2025. Loving daughter of Herbert (deceased) and Dolores (deceased ); Cherished sister of Jack (Anita), Edward T. Sr. (JoAnn) and Barbara Kouns (Brian); Loving aunt of Edward T. Jr. and Joedda Reuter (Steve); Beloved great aunt of Aubrey; Cousin and friend to many.

Deb, was an Accountant by trade, and took her talents to several different companies over the years and helped them thrive, she could be defined by much more than spread and balance sheets. She was a photography enthusiast, becoming the designated photographer for the Meckes family, for all events from birthday parties at home to documenting her worldwide travels. During the years, Deb was known to travel through Europe and visit Disneyland with friends, photographing and taking in all of the sights she explored. While being worldly and well traveled, she was also driven to dive deep into her families genealogy, being able to trace her roots back to Germany and England and this was before the services of 23 and Me and other helpful tools were widely available. She will be deeply missed by her family and worldwide friends. The family kindly suggests that you donate to your charity of choice in Deborah's name as she supported many causes in her lifetime.

Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at St. Colette Catholic Church, 330 West 130th St, Brunswick, OH 44212. Prayer service at the funeral home at 9AM with procession to church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park. Family will receive friends from 2-6pm on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 7501 Ridge Road, Parma, OH 44129.
