Deborah J. (Krosschell) Milo, 79, beloved wife of 50 years to Nicholas P. Milo, died peacefully in her home on Saturday, February 8th.
Born and raised in West Newton, Deborah was the daughter of the late Everhardus Krosschell and Martha (Silveira) Kimball. She was a Controller for Honda Village in Boston and was named National Controller of the Year for many years. Deborah has been a resident of Saugus since 1987 and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed doing needlework and cross stitch. She was an avid reader and was excellent at Trivial Pursuit.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her step - daughters Christine Kim and her husband Sung, Michelle Scarpa; nine grandchildren, Timothy, Jade, Nicholas, James, Kayla, Kerin, Katrina, Mary Jane and Jonas and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her niece Jessica Lespier and her husband Al and her nephew David Klavins and their children Brittney, Alex, Olivia, Abigail and Haley. She was predeceased by her sister Judith M. Klavins and her husband Andrew as well as her nephew Andrew J Klavins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Deborah's memory may be made to the Saugus VFW Ladies Auxiliary, 190C Main St. Saugus, MA 01906.
SERVICE INFORMATION
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave, Saugus on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
