Deborah Hayes Pipkin, 63, of Gray, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, March 23, 2025. Born in Macon, Georgia, on July 3, 1961, Deborah lived a life defined by love, resilience, and an unwavering dedication to her family.
Above all else, Deborah adored her grandchildren, cherishing every moment she spent with them. She was their biggest cheerleader, their safe haven, and their source of endless love. Known for her selfless spirit, she always placed the happiness of others before her own. She was thoughtful and passionate, a true firecracker who never settled for the bare minimum. Deborah had a unique ability to see beyond the surface, teaching those around her never to judge a book by its cover. She also had a special talent for finding joy in the little things, especially in the thrill of shopping. But beyond the packages and deliveries, she was most fulfilled by the love and laughter of her family.
Deborah is survived by her loving son, Joseph Neal Pipkin, Jr. (Haley); her treasured grandchildren, Neal, Daniel, Bailey, Ava, Owen, and Rilyn; her brother, Jimmy Hayes; and a precious great-grandchild on the way. She is now reunited with those she held dear who went before her: her beloved husband, Joseph Neal Pipkin, Sr.; her daughter, Christy Wilson; her parents, James and Gaye Hayes; and her dear friends, Lu Lineberger and Joseph Pipkin.
Deborah's love, wisdom, and fierce devotion to family will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she is no longer physically with us, her spirit will continue to shine through the lives she touched. Gray Memorial Chapel is honored to be entrusted with the care of the Pipkin family.
