Lois Jane Pipkin, age 78, of Caldwell, died Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro. She had been in poor health for the past two months.
Mrs. Pipkin was born June 22, 1947, in Arkansas, and was the daughter of John Calvin Smith and Janie Woodall Smith Baird. She lived in St. Francis County most all of her life, was a past employee of Sanyo and G.I., and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Pipkin married Eldis Carnell Pipkin and he preceded her in death in 2015. She is survived by one daughter, Melissa Pipkin of Caldwell, one step-son, Timothy Pipkin of Little Rock, one step-daughter, Lisa Pipkin of Little Rock, sixteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She had two step-daughters; Teresa Immell and Anita Hall, who preceded her in death.
Services will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 2:00 P.M., Monday, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 1:00 P.M., until the time of the service. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. You may log on to stevensfuneralhome.net for the online registry.
