Deborah Jean Spraker, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, February, 11th 2026. Debbie was born on July 31, 1954 in Utica, NY, to the late John and Velma (Polmateer) Herron. She proudly called Dunnellon home for 48 years. She attended Heuvelton Central School , graduating class of 1973. For Several years, Debbie worked as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, dedicating her career to helping older adults live fuller, more independent lives. Debbie had a way of making life feel warmer. Being a mother and grandmother brought her immense joy and pride. She enjoyed the beach, shopping, music, and sharing good food and times with friends and family. She carried her faith with quiet confidence allowing it to guide the way she cared for others.
She leaves behind her children, Brian Spraker and Sara Sancrante; her brothers, John Herron, Jr. and Michael Herron; her sisters, Donna Zager, Kathleen Nicholson, and Colleen Herron ; her grandchildren, Reagan Spraker, Savannah Sancrante, Jackson Spraker and Paisley Sancrante ;and many extended family members and friends who will carry her love forward. She will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at St. John Baptist Catholic Church, Dunnellon, Fl. Family and friends are invited to attend and join in prayer as we entrust her to God's eternal care. Donations may be made is Deborahs memory to St.. John the Baptist Catholic church 7525 S US Hwy 41, Dunnellon, FL, United States, 34432.
