Deborah Sue Stover, age 68 of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 11:55 a.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at the Aurora Nursing Center. She was born August 15, 1957, in Monett, Missouri, the daughter of William Leon and Lola Mae (Dorrell) Springer.

Deborah was a 1975 graduate of Marionville High School in Marionville, Missouri. She was a United States Army veteran serving from 1976 until 1982. She worked as a Med Tech at the Aurora Nursing Center and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Aurora.

On May 2, 1986, she married William Ricky Stover, in McKinney, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 21, 2005.

Deborah is survived by her sister, Pam Gunn, of Aurora, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Bill, and Lola; her husband, Rick; two sisters, Patty Merritt, and Linda Blades; one brother, Derwin Springer and one nephew, Brian Blades.

A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn North Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
