Celebrating a Life of Family and Love
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Deborah Ann Wilburn Trotter, whose devotion to family was the foundation of her life and legacy. Deborah, aged 69, departed on September 21, 2025, leaving behind a circle of loved ones who will forever treasure the warmth, laughter, and wisdom she shared.
Born on May 28, 1956, in Alexandria, Virginia to the late Spurgeon Wilburn, Sr. and Josephine Robison, Deborah grew up in big family, one of seven children, the family bonds that were established only deepened as the years went on. She built a home filled with love, kindness, and unwavering support, a place where every story was woven into the tapestry of family memories.
Throughout her life, Deborah was known for putting family first; always ready with a listening ear and sage advice that guided loved ones through life's joys and challenges. She found true happiness in simple moments such as sharing meals, reading her bible, piecing together puzzles, and watching new generations grow.
Deborah is survived by her four children: Guyrin Jeron Wilburn, Terrence Andra Wilburn (Reshaunda), Melvin David Trotter, and Nya Viola Trotter; grandchildren: LaTanya Aryanna Wilburn (Eduardo), Ramia Synai Wilburn, Cheyenne Neri Alexandra Wilburn, Terrence Jeremiah Wilburn Jr., Ezra Langston Wilburn, and Zyaire Ermias Trotter; one great grandchild: Adonis Silas Wilburn; three siblings: Spurgeon Wilburn Jr (Pamela), Shirletta Wilburn, and Vera Lewis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, who will carry forward her spirit of love and unity. The family wishes to express their profound gratitude for the outpouring of support and kindness during this difficult time.
Services will be held on October 22, 2025, at 11:00 am (Viewing at 10:00am) at Dale City Christian Church located at 14022 Lindendale Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22193, where family and friends will gather to honor Deborah and share stories that celebrate a life built around family.
