Pawtucket - Deborah S. (Rice) Venturini, 63, of Capwell Avenue, died Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at home.
Born in Providence, a daughter of David M. Rice of Narragansett and the late Barbara (Faneuf) Smith, she had lived in Pawtucket for most of her life.
Ms. Venturini was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Animal Science. She went on to work at Brown University and Women and Infants as a laboratory manager in the Microbiology Department. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her cat Sonny. The things she looked forward to the most were her weekly Wednesday visits from her father.
Besides her father, she is survived by one son, Jess Venturini, and his wife Jessica, of Coventry, one step-son, Gary Venturini, Jr., one sister, Wendy Swanbeck of North Chelmsford, Massachusetts; two nephews, Michael and Jim Swanbeck; and one grandson, Erik Venturini.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Her funeral and burial will be private. For directions and guest book, please visit www.bellowsfuneralchapel.com.
