Deborah Wadsley Obituary
Debbie was born on May 23, 1966, in Guilford County to the late Gerald Henry Wadsley and Carolyn Jean Holder. A devoted homemaker, she lived for her family and friends. She found her greatest joy in the laughter of family cookouts. Known as a spirited "firecracker" with a sharp wit, Debbie embraced life with a free spirit and a wonderful sense of fun. She also left behind her beloved fur babies, who held a very special place in her heart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Henry Wadsley Jr.
She is survived by her sons, James Blackley and Chris Simpson (April); her daughters, Olivia Fields and Kathryn Fields Mitchell (Andrew). Her six cherished grandchildren: Peyton, Cameron, Jonah, Mary Jane, Layla, and Ellie. And her dear friend and partner in crime Johnny Cox.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
