Debra Ann Atkinson age 66 of Rogers City passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 28, 2024.
She was born in Rogers City to Benedict and Marian (Hoffman) Kowalski on December 20, 1957.
Debbie was a talented crafter who enjoyed painting, making jewelry and crocheting; another passion was canning, she gave away most of what she made to friends and family.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Harvey and her daughter, Samantha Rose (Shawn Benton) Atkinson.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Benedict and Marian; her brother, Randy; two sisters, Susan Cooper and Karen Kowalski; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Angus and Lelia Atkinson.
Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 7th from 2 p.m. through time of her memorial service at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Elk Country Animal Shelter, 11484 Youngs Road, Atlanta, MI 49709.
