Debra Jo Cummins, 71, widow of George Gilbert Cummins II, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025, at her home in Lawrenceburg. She was born July 10, 1953, in Versailles to the late Rosen Cran and Zannie Mae Means Kincaid. She was a homemaker, enjoyed the red mile and Belterra, but her true love was the grandkids.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Marie Brumback, Maggie Bostic, Elizabeth Clark, Nancy Watkins, Walter Kincaid, Edgar Kincaid, Donnie Kincaid, Floyd Kincaid, Molly Cheatham, Dorothy Jane Kincaid, Vernard Kincaid, and Bradley Kincaid.
Debra will be lovingly remembered by her children, Angie Ward, Lawrenceburg, George (Jennifer) Cummins, III, Lawrenceburg, brothers, Philip Kincaid, Herbert Kincaid, grandchildren, Amber (Tyler) Ashburn, Dylan Livingston, Kurt (Grace) Cummins, Eli Cummins, great-grandchildren, Jacksyn Ashburn, Masyn Ashburn, Lincoln Ashburn, Grayson Ashburn, Huxstyn Ashburn, Eastyn Livingston, Beverly Livingston, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 27, 2025, also at Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home with visitation from 12:00 pm until time of service. Burial Will follow at Corinth Cemetery, Lawrenceburg, where pallbearers will be Kurt Cummins, Tyler Ashburn, Dylan Livingston, Sean Cummins, Keith Curry, Jeff Kincaid, Ritchie Kincaid, and David Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be Philip Kincaid, Billy Onan, Ernie Bostic, Tony Kincaid, Eli Cummins, Jacksyn Ashburn, Masyn Ashburn, Lincoln Ashburn, Grayson Ashburn, and Eastyn Livingston. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories and leave messages of condolence here on Debra's tribute wall.
