Brooksville-Roy Lee Cummins, 79, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025. He was born on February 22, 1946 to the late Howard Clark and Ann (Free) Cummins. He was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers. He is survived by Linda (Bravard) Cummins whom he married August 21, 1964. He is also survived by two sons, John Allen (Angela) Cummins of Charlotte, NC and Randy Lee (Mary Beth) Cummins of Strongsville, OH; eight grandchildren, Justin (Amber) Cummins, Jordan (Brittany) Cummins, Joshua Cummins, Carly (TJ) Penninger, Heath (Makenzy) Gentle, Gracie (Justin) Cummins, Jeffery Cummins, and Lucy-Ann Cummins; five great-grandchildren, Leroy Cummins, Lillie and Ruby Cummins; Charlotte and Georgia Gentle; three sisters, Judy (Ross) Reina; Faye Hendy; and Mary Lou Norton; and several half siblings. He was preceded in death by a son Jeffrey Cummins; and a brother-in-law, John Hendy. Funeral will be 2 pm on Thursday at Moore and Parker Funeral Home in Brooksville. Burial will be Brooksville Cemetery. Visitation will be 11-2 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Hospice of Hope.
