Pamela Rae Cummins was born October 12th, 1950, to Frank Fisher and Norma Fisher. She was united in marriage to Wayne Cummins on 12/21/94 on beautiful snowy evening at SilverDollar City. Pam peacefully departed this life at their farm in rural Webster County on October 2nd, 2025.
Pam was a truly kind and loving person, who never turned down the opportunity to help a friend in need. Anyone who encountered Pam walked away with a smile on their face as Pam was always there to lift others up. Pam always felt being given the opportunity to help another was a blessing rather than aburden. She always faced life head on, never shying away from difficult times.
Pam was more than just a temporary light passing through this world. She was a beacon to her family, friends, neighbors and anyone that had the privilege of receiving her generous love to help them find their way through the dark times. Pam was truly a blessing to all that knew her.
Pam and Wayne shared a passion for horses and at one time owned 45 head including 7 Stallions they used to produce top notch blood lines. Some of their favorite memories were made breaking and training colts, along with trail riding and camping around the Ozarks. Pam's horse Twist was her constant mount and favorite trail horse. Pam was one of only a handful of riders that made every ride for 30 consecutive years for the Kidney Foundation's annual Ride for Life and frequently invited friends and family to join her on these rides. Pam was a member of The Marshfield Saddle Club for many years up until her passing, remaining a member even though she was unable to attend meetings and events.
Pam never passed up a garage sale or a swap meet and loved to share news of the great bargains she had found. Pam had a deep appreciation and love for growing flowers, no matter the challenge it presented for Wayne to mow around the maze of flower beds in the yard.
Pam retired from Zenith in Springfield and still maintained friendships with several of her co-workers. She recently attended her high school class reunion, visiting and reconnecting with lifetime friends who she cherished. Pam never met a stranger and was blessed with many good neighbors that became dear friends.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Angela Creson, her stepson Curtis Cummins, her father and mother-in-law John W and Mary Florene Cummins.
Pam is survived by her devoted husband Wayne, her son Shane Creson, her grandson and granddaughter, Hunter and Katrina Creson who she adored, a stepson Mark (Melanie) Cummins, daughter in law Kara Cummins, granddaughter Kiley (Tommy) Woodruff, grandson Bryce (Taylor) Cummins, granddaughter Megan Cummins, grandsons Dawson and Xander Cummins, great grandson Ryker Woodruff, siblings Barbara (Kevin) Knight, Frank (Madrene) Fisher and Steve Fisher and sisters in law, Bonny Dean and Patsy McFarland.
