Beacon Falls – Debra Daigle, 71, of Beacon Falls, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 9, 1954, in Derby, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Helen (Groccia) Russell. A lifelong resident of Beacon Falls, Debra was the beloved wife of Arthur Daigle Jr., whom she married in 1974.
A graduate of Naugatuck High School, Class of 1972, Debra was deeply devoted to her family, who were the center of her life. She especially enjoyed gathering with loved ones, shopping, and snapping photos at family events, always making sure everyone received a labeled copy. She was also active in her community, volunteering with several local organizations in her hometown.
In addition to her husband Arthur, Debra is survived by her daughter Lisa Daigle; her brother Thomas Russell; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Nicholas Daigle, and by her parents.
The family is especially grateful to the Beacon Falls Senior Center, where Debra found friendship and community while playing Bingo and Wii Bowling.
Arrangements - Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck, with a service to follow directly after. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family in Pinesbridge Cemetery, Beacon Falls.
