Debra Garver Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Snyder Funeral Homes, Lindsey Chapel on Dec. 12, 2025.
LAKEVILLE: Debra L. Garver passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster, surrounded by her family at the age of 73.
She was born on November 6, 1952, to parents Robert & Colleen (Dean) Stitzlein in Ashland, Ohio. Debra graduated from Loudonville High School with the class of 1971, and shortly after married Galen Garver on August 26, 1972. The pair raised 6 children together, ran their dairy farm, and were married for 53 years.
As a homemaker and farmer's wife, Debra worked hard to maintain her home and care for her children. She was very active in her children's lives, coaching, 4-H, and involved in many other activities. After the kids left the nest, she became more active with the farm. However, Debra's true passion was gardening. She worked hard to make the farm look beautiful with her flower beds, and for many years, she sold flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Galen Garver; her children Jason (Gloria) Garver, Andrea (Steve) Miller, Suzi (Ben) Hobson, Michelle (Bryan) Glover, Alex (Casey) Garver, and Eric (Lauren) Garver; her 22 grandchildren; and her siblings Dan (Lisa) Stitzlein, David "Skip" (Darla) Stitzlein, Doreen (John) Edmondson, and Doug (Michelle) Stitzlein.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Dean Stitzlein.
A Celebration of Life in Deb's memory will take place this spring; the date and time will be announced at a later date.
Snyder Funeral Home- Lindsey Chapel is honored to serve Debra's family and encourage you to share a memory or condolence with them on her tribute page.
