Debra Frances Getridge

Ocala, Florida – Debra Frances Getridge, 69, of Ocala, FL and formerly of Sharpsburg, MD passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at her home.
She was born on November 27, 1955, in Antietam, Maryland, to the late Floyd Richard and Helen Geraldine (Tritapoe) Burgan.
Debra was a 1973 graduate of Boonsboro High School. She also received her associate degree from Hagerstown Business College.
She was most recently employed as the Office Manager at Battleview Market in Sharpsburg, MD. She was previously employed as an insurance billing clerk at Meritus Health, and prior employed by National Geographic Gaithersburg, MD.
Debra was a Christian.
She volunteered with Sharpsburg Area EMS where she previously served as Secretary. She also helped with various functions at Potomac Valley Fire Company in Dargan, MD.
Billiards was her favorite hobby. She was a member of the APA Pool League for over 20 years. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, arts and crafts, and was an accomplished artist.
She is survived by her son Clifford W. Wolfe and his wife Dana of Hedgesville, WV; son Jeremy W. Getridge and his fiancé Milly Lewis of Hagerstown, MD; son Joshua L. Getridge and his fiancé Katherine Wherley of Sharpsburg, MD; daughter Jessica B. Miller of Clear Spring, MD; sister Peggy Showe and her husband Steve of Sharpsburg, MD; sister Bobbi Jo Eighenbrode and her husband Josh of Fairplay, MD; grandchildren Faith Getridge, Nadalie Miller, Cheyenne Wolfe, Courtney Wolfe, Cesar Lopez, Brooke Miller, Nikolai Marinenko, Annabelle Miller, Payton Miller, Adrianna Getridge, Harry, Donna, and Caitlyn Troxler; 5 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 1:00 pm on Tuesday for the convenience of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 2:00 pm with Pastor Kimberly Nunberg-Wadel officiating. Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery Sharpsburg, MD.
