Debra Lynne John, maiden name Dahlman, passed away on January 27, 2026, in Jerome, Missouri, at the age of 72.
Debra was born on August 31, 1953, in Salinas, Monterey County, California, to Edward Franklin Dahlman and Marie Elizabeth Ray. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Donald Gene John; and her sister, Sandra Lou Hendricks (Dahlman).
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Michael Edward Goins, John Theodore Goins, and Berna Lynne Goins; her seven grandchildren; and her six great-grandchildren, all of whom were the pride and joy of her life.
Debra loved her family fiercely. She was known for her feisty spirit, her strength, and her determination to do things her own way. She lived boldly and unapologetically, always standing firm in who she was.
She was a proud member of the Freedom of the Road Riders motorcycle group, where she found friendship, adventure, and a sense of freedom that reflected her independent heart.
Debra will be remembered for her resilience, her strong will, and the deep love she had for those closest to her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the family she cherished so dearly.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
