Debra (Debbie) Jean Locker,
born 1967 (57 yrs old) of Mineral City, OH passed away March 21st 2025 at Amberwood Manor of New Philadelphia surrounded by the Traditions Hospice care team. Debbie was born in the town of Dover Ohio. She was the daughter of Robert and Sandra McNutt of Mineral City. Debbie graduated from Tusky Valley High School in 1986, where she was active as a head majorette and a basketball player. Some said that no one could throw a baton as high and catch it like Debbie could. After High School she started a 23-year career at Dairy Queen in New Philadelphia. She had a lot of interests in life, but she especially enjoyed cooking, bingo, throwing darts, fishing and had a strong love for animals. She volunteered at the Mineral City Fire dept, American Legion and many other places, cherishing the times with close friends and family. Debbie is proceeded in death by her mother, father, and late husband Chuck Locker. Survived by her two brothers Terry and Rick McNutt. We're very thankful to Terry and the many close friends who were with her in the last few months as she went through all the medical appointments and tests that she had to go through. Her dog Willy will miss her greatly. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 22nd at 4pm at the Mineral City American Legion.
