Debra Ann McCoury

Debra Ann McCoury, 70, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, February 26th, at Aultman Compassionate Care after fighting a long and powerful fight with cancer, with her daughter Barbara Kay by her side. Born in Canton, on January 21, 1955, a daughter of the late William C. and Dorothy J. (Ender) Lawhun. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by sister Patricia Lawhun, brother William Lawhun Jr., and special friend Michael Palmer. Survived by 2 daughters Barbara (Lee) Semple, April L. Lockard; sister Barbara (Gary) Simpson; half-sister Misty Bowdle; 3 half- brothers Eric Lawhun, Harrison Lawhun, Michael Nadeau; best friend Marie Palmer; 6 grandchildren Anthony Lockard, Cierra Lockard, Lakia Lockard, Cody Lockard, Makayla Cole, Cori Ellevan; 2 great- grandchildren Aarjuan Hamilton, Khloe Lockard as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends. The family of Debra would like to say a special thank you to all of the staff at Aultman Compassionate Care. No services will be held at this time.
