Vivian McCoury Obituary

Vivian was born in Unicoi, TN on September 23, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Grover and Hazel (Hughes) McCoury. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hanover and enjoyed gardening, sewing, and time spent with her loving family.
Vivian is survived by her son Mervin Heiner, Jr. and wife Mindy; her grandchildren Lyndsi Werner, Mervin E. Heiner, III, Nathaniel L. Heiner, Landon S. Heiner, and Taylor W. Heiner; and her great-grandchildren Zoe, Nathaniel Jr., Iris, Sawyer, Savannah, and Easton. She is also survived by her siblings Elizabeth Hoover, Del McCoury, Jerry McCoury, and Jeannette Myers; and numerous nieces and nephews. Vivian was preceded in death by her son Gregory C. Luckenbaugh; her grandson Kyle Luckenbaugh; and her brother Grover C. McCoury, II.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Vivian's life will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 10:00AM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of Spring Grove, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, PA 17362 with Pastor Gary Buchman officiating. She will be laid to rest following the service at Marburg Memorial Gardens in Hanover. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 9:00AM – 10:00AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Vivian's memory may be made to First Baptist Church of Hanover, 217 Fulton St., Hanover, PA 17331.
