Debra was born October 6, 1958 in Weatherford, daughter of William Adron Bobo and Mary Leota (Thornton) Bobo.

Debbie, a cherished friend, dedicated nurse practitioner, wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2024, at the age of 66. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles, with whom she shared 48 wonderful years of marriage, and her cherished daughter, Katherine (Katy), who is married to Lakshmi (Lucky). She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Sureka, Henry, and Maggie, along with a large extended family that held her dear. Debbie also adored her fur babies, Mouse and Wolfe, and her grand pups, The Littles and Max.

Debbie had an unbreakable bond with her best friend, sister, and partner in crime, Frankie, with whom she shared 46 years of adventures together. They were the ultimate Lucy and Ethel duo.

Dr. Gene McDaniel, known for his playful and sometimes bratty behavior, always brought mischief into Debbie's life as her adopted younger brother.

Debbie dedicated her life to caring for others, both in her professional and personal life. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Christian University in 1990, where she was proudly inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing as a member of Beta Alpha Chapter. Later, she obtained her Master of Science from Texas Women’s University and became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2003. Additionally, she enjoyed teaching LVNs at Weatherford College, showcasing her talent for education. With her exceptional healing skills and compassionate nature, she profoundly impacted the lives of countless patients throughout her career, inspiring both colleagues and friends with her unwavering commitment to health and wellness.

At home, Debbie was a source of strength, love, and warmth. An exceptional cook and baker, she loved hosting gatherings for family and friends. Whether sharing stories from her work, offering advice, mentoring, or simply enjoying time together, she consistently brought joy and comfort to those around her.

Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of compassion and care will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched. Now, she is an angel watching over her loved ones
