Debra Oines Obituary
Debra was born in Cooperstown, NY on July 31st, 1954 to William and Doris Van Buren. She attended Richfield Springs Central School and later earned an associates degree in nursing where she went on to work at several local hospitals as an LPN.
She enjoyed playing canasta with family, attending rock concerts, camping, target shooting, playing horseshoes, cookouts and spending time with grandchildren.
Debra is predeceased by her husband Arne Oines, father William, mother Doris, brother Billy and sister Joan. She is survived by her life partner Richard Streeter, her son Michael and his partner Kristine, daughter Stacy and her fiancé David, daughter Ashley, son Richard and his partner Alice, her brother Charles and his wife Beth, her brother John, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, December 14, 2024 with a service following immediately after at Ottman Funeral Home, 22 Church St. Cherry Valley, NY. There will be a celebration of life at the West Winfield VFW on State Rt. 20 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
Debra will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Arrangements are under the care of the Ottman Funeral Home, 22 Church St., Cherry Valley, NY with Cremation taking place at The Leatherstocking Crematory, Cherry Valley
