Debra Tilley Obituary
Mrs. Tilley was born in Austell to the late Mr. John Kitchens & Routilia Fannin Kitchens.
Debra was a Labor Relations Specialist with the Department of Housing and Urban Development. She had a love of the beach, singing, sports cars, and animals. Her true love was her family, her children, and grandchildren were the most cherished ones in her life. Debra had the purest heart, she was never one to say no, and always had a place for anyone or animal that needed a home. She will be missed beyond measure.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents; husband, James Preston Tilley Sr., siblings; James Kitchens, Dennis Kitchens, Charles Kitchens, Frankie Kitchens, MaryJoe McTyre, Evelyn Windsor, and Kenneth Kitchens.
Debra is survived by her son, James (Jimmy) Preston Tilley JR., daughter, Samantha (Joel Pinto). Grandchildren, Jessica Mae, and Jonathan (JJ) Pinto. Siblings, Virginia May (Sonny), Johnny Kitchens (Diana), close family friend Thurmond Mitchell, many beloved nieces and nephews, and her faithful companion, Briggs.
The family will receive family and friends for visitation on Tuesday, December 27th, 2022 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM. Funeral Services with be held on Wednesday, December 28th at 12:00PM in the Chapel of White Columns. A burial will follow at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens.
