Debra "Debi" Lynne Trammell, 63, of Irving, Texas, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on October 23, 2025. Born in Cheltenham, England, to Isabelle Mitchell-Frost and Edward Elmore, she experienced a life rich with travel and adventure as she grew up around the world.
Debi devoted her career to caring for others, working in senior living as an Activity Director. Her creativity, compassion, and joyful spirit brought warmth and laughter to countless residents and their families.
As a firm believer in Jesus Christ, Debi was an active member of Village Baptist Church, where she sang on the praise team and taught Sunday school. She cherished life and loved spending time with her family and friends. Debi found joy in reading and writing, going on cruises with dear friends, and wearing anything bright, sparkly, or colorful-just like her personality.
She cared deeply for everyone she met and was known for her kindness, faith, and radiant presence. Her laughter, generosity, and unwavering love for others left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her devoted husband of 34 years, Dwayne; her beloved children, Amber Pompa (Shawn), and Nick Trammell (Ashley); and her cherished bonus children, Shane Trammell (Sheba), Aubrey Forte (Josh), Jeff Trammell (Stephanie), and Rudy Lopez. Debi was a proud Nana to nine grandchildren-Dayton, Elizabeth, Josiah, Kyeler, Luca, Makayla, Odin, Olivia and Robert-each of whom brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her father-in-law, Billy Trammell and siblings, Steve Elmore (Mini), Tiffany Michel (Mark), Burt Elmore (Amanda), and Amy Frost (Will), along with many nieces and nephews.
Debi was welcomed into heaven by her father, Ed, her mother, Isabelle, sister-in-law, Brenda, and mother-in-law, Mary. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 15, 2025 at 11AM, at Village Baptist Church, 224 E. Grauwyler Rd., Irving, TX 75061. Family and friends are invited to attend, wearing pink or bright colors, to honor Debi's beautiful life and the love she shared so freely.
