Debra Wheetley Obituary
Debra Lynn (Tyler) Wheetley, 67, Peru, Indiana, passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025, at her residence.
Born December 14, 1957, in Peru, Indiana she was the daughter of John H., Sr. and Helen E. (Glassburn) Tyler. On June 12, 1976, she married Kenneth Marvin Wheetley, and he passed April 22, 2022.
Survivors include her children, Stacey (Jason) Burke, Peru; Kenny (Amber) Wheetley, Macy; and Virginia Diane Wheetley (Tracy Smith), Evansville; grandchildren, Taylor Nice, Hunter Couchman (Jaycee Arnold), Dakota Couchman, Kyndal Wheetley (Joey Bishop), Malika Malone, Nyasia Malone, Zyaire Malone, Luna Drake, Addyline Burke, Hannah Grismore, Reece Grismore, and Ameena Smith; three great-grand babies, Ryder, Emma, and Kenneth Mosley; brother, John Melvin Tyler, California; two sisters, Sharon Tyler, Peru; and Sandy Tyler (David Jones), Peru; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Stephanie Sons, and two brothers, John H. “John Boy” Tyler, Jr. and Billy Joe Tyler.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025, at The Worship Chapel Worship, 6910 N. 1050 E. Denver, Indiana 46926.
Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Friday, at the church.
