Donnie H. Wheetley

Donnie Harold Wheetley, age 84, a resident of Sikeston, MO, died Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston.

Born June 7, 1941, at Clay County, Arkansas, to the late Edward Wheetley and Becky Beatrice Payne Wheetley, he had lived in the Sikeston area most of his live and was employed a number of years at Wohl Shoe Company. He had served a number of years

Surviving is his son, Tim Wheetley of Sikeston; grandsons, Chance Wheetley and Trace Wheetley; his sister, Patsy (Roger) Burns of Sikeston; his brothers, Edward Leon Wheetley of St. Geneveive, MO and Jimmie Wheetley of Claremore, OK; also, a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother, Gerald Wheetley and other brothers and sisters, Doyle Wheetley, Kenneth Wheetley, Mack Wheetley, Earl Wheetley, Viola Mae Cobb and Wilma Phillips.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at noon, Monday, August 25, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. Kris Alexander will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Matthews City Cemetery at Matthews, MO under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
