In celebration of a life well-lived, we remember Dee Ann Beckham (née Verstoppen), who began her remarkable journey on October 6, 1966, in West Covina, California, and concluded it gracefully on November 12, 2024, in Meridian, Idaho. Born to James and the late Jo Ann Verstoppen, Dee Ann radiated warmth, humor, and creativity, profoundly impacting everyone she met.
Dee Ann was a beacon of compassion and dedication throughout her illustrious career in healthcare. Her journey through higher education saw her attend Boise State University and Idaho State University, where she honed her skills to become both a Respiratory Therapist and later, a Registered Nurse. Over 27 years, she served with unwavering commitment, touching countless lives with her expertise and care.
Beyond her professional excellence, Dee Ann was a loving and devoted family person. Her vibrant personality and boundless creativity were evident in her interests, particularly crafting, quilting, and sewing. She found immense joy in creating beautiful projects, which included many heartfelt creations for her eagerly anticipated grandson.
Her family, whom she cherished above all, includes her husband, William Beckham; her daughters, Stacey Beckham, Tyndall Beckham, Diantha Frandin (Stephen), and Annessa Beckham; her son, Christian Beckham; her father, James Verstoppen, and her brother, David Verstoppen (Kathy). Her legacy of humor, kindness, and compassion continues to inspire those she leaves behind.
As a testament to the joy she brought into the world, a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Summers Funeral Home, Meridian. This gathering will not only honor her life but also reflect on the laughter and love she shared so generously, inviting all who knew her to remember her in their own special ways.
In remembering Dee Ann, we celebrate a life of dedication, creativity, and boundless love, drawing inspiration from her passion for both her family and her calling. Her spirit lives on, a guiding light for all who were fortunate to know her.
