Carthage, MS
Dee Wayne Jolly, Sr., 81, a retired truck driver, died Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
Visitation is 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Wilcox Funeral Home. Services are 10:00 am Wednesday, October 16, 2024 in the Wilcox Chapel with Bro. Stan Tucker officiating. Interment is in Springfield Cemetery.
Mr. Jolly was a native of Madden, MS and a member of Springfield Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Earl and Mittie Miller Jolly; brothers, Darvin Jolly, Lewis Jolly, Larry Carlisle, and Billy Pat Carlilse; sisters, Annie Catherine Gilmore, Virlgila Jolly, and Pat Dorsey.
Survivors include: his wife, Sue Bryan Jolly; sons, Dee Jolly, Jr (Barbara), Chip Jolly (Sandra), Eric A. Jolly (Darlene), Cody Vinzant (Mary), and Cory Vinzant; daughters, Ginger Jolly (James), Felicity Harris, Kimberly Chamblee (Daniel), and Casey Morris; brothers, Ambrosia "Ham" Jolly and Bernard Jolly (Annie Pearl); 32 grandchildren, Brittnee Chamblee, Bryce Chamblee, Skylah Chamblee, Adysun Chamblee, Alaria Chamblee, Seth Chamblee, Dee Wayne Jolly, II, Devon Jolly, Samantha Fulton, Jasmine Casarez, Cheyenne Sanders, Krissy Jolly, Johnny Ray Walters, Ashley Jolly, Emily Jolly, Katie Wilkerson, Madison Wilkerson, Walter Wilkerson, Destiny Jolly, Jacob Jolly, Adara Parker, Williams Jones, Austin Coleman, Courtney King, Bailey Vinzant, Michael Yates, Summer Yates, Brittany Yates, Shaunta Jolly, Havan Franklin, Shay Jolly, Michael Elmore, Chasity Vinzant, Alicia Vinzant, Delilah Vinzant, Caleb Vinzant, Austin Wilson, Michael Elmore, Chasity Vinzant, Alicia Vinzant, Delilah Vinzant, and Caleb Vinzant; ; 25 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: Diego Casarez, Jacob Jolly, Bailey Vinzant, Lance Bryan, Michael Yates, Williams Jones, Byrce Chamblee, and Cory Vinzant.
