Dee B Schneider

Dee B. Schneider, 84, of Bountiful Utah, passed away at his home on April 5th.

Dee was born on May 25th 1937 to Joseph and Luella Schneider in Salmon Idaho. After Dee graduated from Davis High School he joined in the Army reserves where he served for more than 25 years. Dee served a two-year Latter-Day-Saint mission to the New England States. After he got home he went on to study electrical engineering at Weber College.

He married Karlene Stratford on July 21st 1961 in the Logan, Utah temple. Dee and Karlene have been dedicated to one another for over 60 years. They have three daughters. Dee enjoyed camping with his family. Fishing was always a priority. Dee also enjoyed spending time at the family cabin at Bear Lake which he and his brother-in-law designed and built.

Dee and Karlene loved to travel to exotic destinations and visited over 35 different countries. Their preferred method of travel was cruise ship. On his last cruise he treated the whole family to a sea plane ride over the glaciers in Juneau Alaska. Other favorite family vacation destinations include: Disneyland, Chichen Itza, and the Oregon coast. After retirement he served for many years in the Salt Lake and Bountiful temples.

Dee was proceeded in death by his parents and sisters Leona and Elda.

Dee is survived by wife Karlene, daughters Marilee, Dee Ann (Lawrence), JoAnn (Jonathan), grandchildren Jason, Thomas (Alexis), Elizabeth (Loren), Alan, and great-granddaughter Isabelle. Also survived by siblings Jay and Norma.

Funeral services will be held at 10am, Monday April 11th, 2022 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main Street Bountiful Utah, where viewings will take place from 6-8pm Sunday April 10th and from 8:45-9:45am on Monday prior to services.

Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
