DeeAnn Rene Castillo passed away peacefully in her home on April 22, 2025, in Metairie, LA. She was born on February 21, 1970 in New Orleans, LA to the late Kenneth Gray Kee and Sandra Kay Kee and granddaughter to the late James and Doloris Griffin. DeeAnn was the beloved wife of Jorge Castillo for 25 years. She was the loving mother of three children: Cristina Perkins (Sylvester), Julia Castillo and Jason Castillo. She will also be dearly missed by her grandchildren Sandra, Sylvester and Wyatt Perkins, Destiney Lynn Hunt and Evelyn Elizabeth Hunt, mother in-law Matha Castillo, sister in-law Virna Castillo (Oscar) and Jessica Castillo (Steve), step mother Linda Kee and her children Byron Gilcrease (Jenny), Michelle Bolin (Jessi) and Paul Gilcrease, niece and nephew Gabriella D'Angelo and Jackson Geller, her aunt Linda Griffin and her loving children James Emmite (Lisa), Lynette Calderone (Jeff) and Shannon Long (Shane). A visitation will be held for DeeAnn at Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd., Metairie, LA 70001, on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM.
