Deidra Leeann Tarrant

Deidra L. Tarrant of Nashville passed this life on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Tri-Star Skyline of Nashville, TN at the age of 38 years. A native of Nashville, Deidra was the daughter of the late Terry Lewis and Maesue Lavania Hendon-Tarrant. She was a very loving person who loved to sing, listen to music and dancing. She loved cooking and eating. Most of all she loved her kids. Deidra attended South Jackson Church of Christ and First Baptist Church and Mount Zion. She loved to listen to the choir sing. The smile on her face when hearing the choir sing gave peace in her heart. She loved watching TV and talking on the phone, checking on friends and family. She loved her family dearly and was always there for her children the best way she knew how. Deidra is survived by two sons, Jabari Tarrant and Dyson Tarrant both of Nashville, Tennessee and one daughter, Danica Tarrant also of Nashville, Tennessee, brothers, Conona Tarrant of Fort Walton, Florida and William Tarrant of Cowan, Tennessee, sisters, Jaime Hendon-Porche (Phil) of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Tia Tarrant of Tullahoma, Tennessee and Angela Tarrant of Cowan, Tennessee. She has one nephew, Urijah Tarrant and three nieces, Athena Tarrant, Cadence Tarrant and Jaylee Porche. She is also survived by her special friend, Topeka Acosta.
