Mr. DelaRosa Blair of Tampa, FL, passed away on September 26, 2025. A funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Northside Missionary Baptist Church, 5706 N. 40th St, Tampa, FL 33610, with Rev. Leonard Harrington, Pastor, Officiating and Rev. Ernest Boone, Eulogist.

Brother DelaRosa Blair Jr., a native Floridian and a resident of Tampa for 44 years, graduated from Hillsborough High School, Hillsborough Community College and also attended Full Sail University.

Throughout his life, he was a devoted member of Northside Missionary Baptist Church and later became a member of Great Commission Church under the leadership of Reverend Ernest Boone. Reverend Boone not only embraced him into the body of Christ but also treated him as a son. Dela recently joined The City of Restoration, under the leadership of Drs. O'Neil and Georgia Salmon.

Dela was known for his independence, fun-loving nature, and unwavering support for LeBron James. He enjoyed playing basketball, football, gaming and creating musical beats. If I had to describe the perfect song for him, it would be Frank Sinatra's "I Did It My Way."

He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Cora Lee Hughes, Deacon Louis Hudson (Alfredia), and Peter Blair; his sister, Imani Blair, aunts, Charlese Hughes, and Min. Sarah Robinson; uncles, Jose Blair Sr., Bryan Hudson Sr., and Jacob Jordan Jr.; niece, Keyonna Jacobs; cousins, Jaime Hughes, Byran Hudson Jr., Taeshod Andrews, Pastor Ricardo Robinson and Shenita Robinson-Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a very devoted mother, Sister Lysonia Hudson, father, DelaRosa Blair Sr.; son, DelaRosa Blair III; like a father, Deacon Andrew Mingo; brothers, Peter Blair (Patricia), Donald Mingo, Andrew Mingo Jr., Antonyis Mingo, Demarcus Burnett, Kendella Saffore, Randle McGhee, Gerry Lilley and Quadaryl Woods; sisters, Alexandria Blair, Andreyiana Jackson, Karkisha Mingo, and Jatesia Mingo, Lynequa Chutkan (Urane), and Alicia Murphy (Demarcus); grandmother, Virgie Blair; Fiancée, Octoryia Robinson; uncles, Chico Blair, Henry Hughes Sr., Lutwan Hughes Sr. (Ilayna), Roderick Thomas (Yorie), Theodore Hughes, Quinton Hudson, Kenny Jordan, Antwan Clark, Luther Jr. (April), Yusuf Shabazz (Twonie), Jay Goldstein, and Harvey Mulkey (Linda); aunts, Yulanda Hughes, Trina Pope (Corlus), Shelia Blair, Ronese Hughes, Vougina Hughes, Kionna Thomas, Thembi Aquil (Oscar), Felice Comissiong (Roy), Min.
