Jeannie (as she was known) was born in Tampa Fl. to Alex and Doris Marko on January 16, 1945.She graduated from Hillsborough High School in 1963. She attended Hillsborough Community College and Erwin Tec. She worked at several medical facilities for many years.
Jeannie is preceded in death by her Mother and Father. Jeannie is survived by her husband and care giver of 60 + years Kenneth Ritchel, Son, Steven Ritchel, (Michelle) Son Kenneth Ritchel (Sue) Daughter and care giver Karen Ritchel, Brothers Richard Marko (Mary), Robert Marko (Jane), and Jimmie Marko (Donna), 7 Grandchildren and 5 great-Grandchildren.
A memorial service will announced at a later date. Arrangements are by Serenity Meadows Riverview.
The family of Doris Jean Ritchel wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Accent Hospice and all the Doctors, nurses and support assistants that enabled Jeannie to remain at home in her final months.
