Tom Blair was born March 1, 1938 in Tennille, Pike County, Alabama. He was the only child of Carlton Thomas Blair and Morrell Bowden Blair. A perfectionist by nature, he was especially skilled in woodworking and bee keeping. He always had some sort of project that he was working on. He worked for Bell South for 38 years, where he was instrumental in developing the fiber optic network in Alabama.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 51 years, Mary Louise Mosley Blair, his children Thomas William Blair Jr (Theresa), Jennifer Leigh Butler (Jeff), Eric Wayne Blair (Crissy), 6 Grandchildren, and 9 Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Blair will be held Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 11am in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Roger Harrell officiating.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 10am until 11am at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.
