Delbert Carr Obituary
He was born on June 16, 1954, in Muncie to Arlie and Marcella (Brown) Carr and spent most of his lifetime in the New Castle area. He attended Chrysler High School and briefly served in the United States Army. Delbert was a lover of the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a fan of NASCAR with Bill Elliott as the driver he followed. He also followed the Indiana Pacers and the Indianapolis Colts.
Survivors:
3 Sisters-Barbara Clouse of New Castle, Brenda (Michael) Johnson of Anderson, Connie (Bob) Whittle of Lewisville
Several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Theresa Carr in 2023, sister- Judy (Randy) Ehrhart brothers-in-law-Gordon Clouse and Gene Blake
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria. Private interment will take place in South Mound Cemetery at New Castle.
