Delbert Drew Obituary
He was born February 2, 1949, in Aurora, IN, son of the late Charles Drew and Ella Gertrude (Browning) Drew.
Duke was a lineworker for Delta Faucet, he also drove a school bus, and was a Pespi driver.
He loved westerns, especially John Wayne movies. He enjoyed old cars, and he loved music, especially the Beach Boys and the Beetles.
Delbert is survived by his children, Brandon Drew of Manchester, IN, Traci Drew England of Manchester, IN, Melissa Knight of Lawrenceburg, IN; siblings, Charles Drew of Rising Sun, IN, Roger (Phyllis) Drew of Manchester, IN, Kaye (Kim) Hanson of Rising Sun, IN, Jim (Joann) Drew of Versailles, IN, Kissy (Tom) Steelman of Lawrenceburg, IN; grandchildren, Selena Knight, Destiny Drew of Rising Sun, IN, Jazzlinn England of Sunman, IN, Alecsander (Samantha) Drew of Sunman, IN, Jett England of Sunman, IN, Carter Drew of Sunman, IN, Jialla England Schutte of Sunman, IN, and Timothy Buckman of Sunman, IN; great-grandchildren, Paisley Mae Drew of Sunman, IN, Nevaeh Leanne Helton of Rising Sun, IN; and several nieces and nephews; his first wife, Ruby Vaughn Drew; close friend, Kaylee Bowling.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ella Drew; 2nd wife, Janice England Drew; siblings, Donald Drew, Annjeane Lovelace, Maxine "Hall" McKinney, Sally "Banschbach" Riffel, and Alberta "Bertie" Brameier.
Friends will be received Thursday, November 2, 2023, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.

Delbert was always a joy to be around. We would visit him in the hospital and sit and talk, make jokes, listen to stories. He was always so good to me and my kids. We will miss his sweet soul.❤

Delbert was a pleasure to be around, every week he looked forward to our visits and so did I. He was always so sweet and funny never missed a chance to crack a joke or yell at the price is right on the tv.
