Delbert Lopez Jr. of East Canton, OH passed away November 30, 2024. Born July 19,1962 he grew up in East Canton, OH attending East Canton High School. Delbert spent his working years as a concrete finisher and contractor. Delbert enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, crossword puzzles, gardening and canning, working on cars and going to local car races. He especially loved his dog Myles, spending summers at the cabin along the Muskingum River, attending the annual Ohio River Sternwheeler festival, and the occasional Rum and Coke.
Preceded in death by mother Janet R. Lopez, son Raymond Lopez, paternal grandparents Frank and Thelma Lopez, maternal grandparents Buck Payton & Walt and Georgia Patterson, nephew Reccardo Semedo III and niece Christina Semedo.
Survived by father Delbert Lopez Sr., son Karl (Angela) Lopez, grandchildren Alexis, Blakley, Lucille and Casey, sisters Janette (Chip) Barwick, Tina (Anthony) Wolfe, Vickie Freday and friend Matthew Cote, brother Daniel (Fely) Lopez Sr., longtime best friend James Reihl, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are welcome to attend services. Calling hours will be held December 18, 2024 @ 5:00-6:00pm with a celebration of life immediately following at Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home 303 S Chapel St Louisville, OH 44641.
