Stephen grew up in Canton, Ohio then spent many years living in Georgia. His love of radio broadcasting took him from Georgia to Texas to Alaska before bringing him back to Canton. His extensive DVD and record collection showed his love for movies and music. Over the last few years he returned to one of his first hobbies as a ham radio enthusiast where he got to talk to other hams around the world. He also found a wonderful community and friends as a member of Grace Baptist Church in Canton,Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Patty Potter; His brother Vincent (Becky) Potter of Massillon, Ohio; Stepmother Joy Potter of Woodstock, Georgia and two stepbrothers Carlton (Patti) McKoy and Jon McKoy; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Paquelet-Falk funeral home (303 S. Chapel St. Louisville, Ohio 44641). A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 on October 24, 2025 at Grace Baptist Church (5050 Middlebranch Ave. NE Canton, Ohio 44705).
