Mildred Kelly Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 27, 2025.
Mildred "Jackie" Kelly, born on February 23, 1952, passed away on October 18, 2025. After a long struggle with health issues, Jackie is now at peace. Her life was one of quiet strength and perseverance. She faced many challenges throughout her journey, yet she met them with courage, independence, and an enduring spirit that defined who she was.
Born to Richard and Dorothy Ott, Jackie grew up in a large family with many siblings. Though life took each of them in different directions, her family remains an important part of her story. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Sheldon, Verle, and Doyle; and sisters Alverna, Twila, Mary Lou, and Dorothy. She is survived by her sons, Danie and Thomas Kelly; her twin sister Mabel Bowser; her siblings Darlene Morris, Lana Waggoner, Richard Ott, Frank Ott, Virginia Johnson, Gloria Hamilton, and Penny; and many nieces and nephews.
Jackie was known for her independence and her ability to face challenges with quiet courage. She valued simple joys and small acts of kindness, often finding beauty in the everyday moments that others might overlook.
Though her path was not always easy, Jackie's story is one of endurance and self-reliance. Those who crossed her path will remember her resilience and the quiet grace with which she met life's challenges.
