Rosemary P. A. (Piechowski) Rodgers, age 75 of East Canton, passed away on January 17, 2024. She was born in Canton, Ohio to parents, Francis and Ruth (Blubaugh) Piechowski on June 9, 1948. She was the sixth of seven children.
Rosemary attended St. Louis Elementary School and then East Canton High School, graduating in 1966. She went on to work at Chef Rohr Foods, Borden Ice Cream, Grinders, and Wal-Mart. She also pursued a love of cake decorating in her 20s which became a life-long pursuit. She made exquisitely decorated cakes for family and friends and even made her own wedding cake!
Rosemary volunteered at St. Louis School and Church, serving on the Parish Council, Bereavement and Festival Committees. She was a devout Catholic and life member of St. Louis Parish.
Rosemarys hobby was sports. She was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and Browns and especially The Ohio State Buckeyes. She did not take calls when a Buckeye game was on!
Rosemary was a beautiful soul. She was kind, caring, and loving with everyone she met. She had a smile for everyone. Her children were her heart.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; parents, Francis and Ruth; brothers-in-law, Carl Akin, Leo Schumaker, Ralph Schwartz, Jim Johnson; and, sister-in-law, Cheryl Piechowski. She is survived by her children, Earl (Krista), Kristin, and Adam Rodgers; grandchildren, Kaleb Gorby and Sadie Rodgers; siblings, Mary Anne Shumaker, Genevieve Schwartz, Rita Akin, Francis (Hedy) Piechowski, Betty Johnson, Teresa (Ed) Hart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
