Delbert Ray Thompson

Mr. Delbert Ray Thompson, age 82, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas, passed from this life on Friday, January 16, 2026, at The Blossoms of Dierks, Arkansas.

He was born to James Delbert and Velma Mae Daniels Thompson on October 22, 1943, in Oklahoma. He married Dorothy Thompson in San Diego, California, and they spent 32 wonderful years together. He faithfully served his country with the U. S. Navy, retiring after 30 years of service. He loved watching movies, woodworking, golfing, but his best spent time was with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Ginger Lynn Thompson, a brother, Jimmy Wayne "Jim" Thompson, and an aunt, Othello Duckett.

Delbert leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Dorothy Ruth Thompson of Dierks, three daughters, Tammy Michele Thompson-Gunning (Jerry) of San Diego, California, Alisa Janine Thompson (Ben) of San Francisco, and Shawna Cathleen "Amanda" Thompson-Manarchy (John) of El Cajon, California; one grandchild, "Felicity" Sara Cathleen and a host of friends.
