Delmer Wilshire Obituary
Delmer Lee Wilshire, age 74 of Clinton, Tn. passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. Delmer was a Crane Operator for Rexnord.
Born in Clinton, Tn. on April 4, 1950 he was the son of the late R.J. and Alice Hooks Wilshire. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Beverly Wilshire; brothers, Ralph Wilshire and Elmer Wilshire.
Delmer was a very active member of Moran Baptist Church, loved his family, enjoyed taking his grandchildren to the Little Ponderosa Zoo, and enjoyed woodworking.
Delmer is survived by his second wife, Brenda Henderson Wilshire; daughters, Shawna Watson and husband Steve of Clinton, Tn., Marissa Kastelic and husband Drew of Knoxville, Tn. and Holly Golden and husband Steve of Andersonville, Tn.; step-son, Kenneth Osborne of Powell, Tn.; grandchildren, Scarlett Watson and fiancé Quentin Kaus and Jacob Watson and wife Jessica; special friends, Cade Cox, Corbin Cox, Leroy Phillips, Doug Wright, David Seivers and many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service for Delmer will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2024 in the Sunset Cemetery in Clinton, Tn. with Rev. Alvis Richardson officiating.
Jones Mortuary in Clinton, Tn. is serving the family of Delmer Lee Wilshire.
